WHAT IT DOES

• The Seat Belt Reminder utilizes in-cab alerts that notify the operator to buckle up.
• The Seat Belt Reminder connects to VisionLink™, a subscription-based telematics software that delivers customizable dashboards with real-time updates on the condition of your equipment.
• VisionLink™ notifies supervisors and creates a log of the instances when a seat belt is not fastened while the machine is in motion to maintain safety records.

HOW IT WORKS

• The Seat Belt Reminder detects when the seat belt should be in use by monitoring the machine’s parking brake switch.
• In order to operate the machine, the operator must turn off the parking brake.
• If the seat belt is not buckled when the parking brake is disengaged, the Seat Belt Reminder alarm will sound (audible alert) and a continuous light will be visible in the buckle (visual alert).
• An optional, external purple beacon provides a visual alert for those on site to easily monitor potentially unsafe situations. When the machine is in motion and no seat belt is detected, the beacon will illuminate.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION

• The Seat Belt Reminder can be installed on all brands of equipment – ideal for Cat or mixed fleets.
• Installation takes 2 hours or less when using existing seat belt mount locations.
• The Seat Belt Reminder is compatible with 12V or 24V systems.
• Seat belts are available in various types and sizes to provide the flexibility required for mixed fleet installations.
• Optional dashboard light, amplified alarm, and external beacon are available.
