Applications and machine types

• Suitable for granular applications
• FOR SOIL APPLICATIONS For smooth drum compactors only. It is capable of measuring from 1 to 1.2 m (3.3 – 4 ft) deep depending on site conditions and is suitable for use on granular soils. Not recommended on cohesive soils.
• FOR ASPHALT APPLICATIONS utilizes drum-mounted accelerometers to measure and record composite stiffness of the asphalt layer, base layer, and sub-base material.
